Fire & Acoustic Rated Downlights
Liteworks range of fire rated downlights have an intumescent material within the downlight that swells to many times its original thickness - sealing gaps and ventilation holes to slow the spread of fire. They give up to 90 minutes fire protection when installed in fire rated ceilings.
The fire rated range has a pressed steel body and die cast aluminium fascia. Easily installed ising spring wing mount. They have been designed and manufactured with fire and acoustic protection built in and conform to building Regulations Part B, BS476, Part 21 (plaster board ceiling), Building Regulations Part B, BS476, Part 23 (suspended ceiling) & Building Regulations Part E (acoustic) and Part C (air movement).
